The Extruder 100 is a production gear extruder, designed to produce a dense, high quality extrudate. The high mass of the gears is designed to impart very little work to the product as it is processed. This reduces problems caused by the material overheating or drying out.
The apparatus is supplied with a standard gear set with 4 mm x 1 mm holes but additional gears can be supplied with different diameter holes. The diameter of spheroids is largely determined by the diameter of the extrudate used.
Construction can be tailored to individual user requirements. |
